For 5 years, St. Matthew's Evangelical participated in Angel Food Ministries food program. After that program was disbanded in the fall of 2011, we began to search for other ways to continue our food ministry. We have now become an Outreach Center for a food ministry provided through Mid America Foods.
Mid America Foods was designed to bring hope and peace of mind to those who want to stretch their food dollars. Mid America Foods offers restaurant quality food at discounted prices. People EVERYWHERE are struggling to make ends meet. MAF's suppliers are ready to help everyone battle the hunger, and give relief to those just trying to survive on a slim budget. EVERYONE is invited to participate and benefit from their vast purchasing power. If you, or someone you know, would like to stretch your hard earned dollars or assist a struggling family, this is a great way to do it.
Each month there are several different food boxes to choose from. We will have some printed menus at church, or you can look at the menu on Mid America Foods website.
